Jonathan M. Cohen, Esq.

Jonathan M. Cohen earned his B.A. in Business from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and received his law degree from the Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia in 1993. That same year, he was sworn in as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia. As an Assistant D.A., he prosecuted thousands of criminal cases until 1998, when he left his post in the District Attorney's Office's Major Trials Unit to join the then young civil firm of Kline & Specter, P.C., where, as a partner, he decided to form his own law firm after twelve years.

Jonathan M. Cohen is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York, and before the District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims in Washington. He is a member of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and American Bar Associations, and is a member of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. He is also a member of the American Association for Justice. Jonathan M. Cohen was selected as among the top attorneys in Pennsylvania by "Super Lawyers" in 2006-2024 through a voting process among Pennsylvania's 39,000 attorneys and reviews by a special blue-ribbon panel.

Jonathan M. Cohen also serves as the elected Chair of the Board of the Caring People Alliance, which operates the second largest Boys & Girls Club in Philadelphia, which provides supportive and educational services to families and children throughout Philadelphia.
